Customer Demand Drives Three New US Hires for TMD

TMD, the leading provider of media asset management systems for digital and physical assets, has confirmed three new appointments to its US operation in response to their expanding North American business.

TMD welcomes Jennifer DeSimone to the US team. As a highly accomplished and seasoned industry professional, Jen will take on the role of Project Manager, working closely with some of TMD’s largest customers, including Discovery Communications. Jen brings a wealth of experience in broadcast software solutions for international television and broadcast organizations and joins TMD from JP Morgan Chase where she was VP Project Manager. Prior to that, she worked with leading broadcasters in New York such as ITN Networks and Univision and led the implementation of a media asset management system at the United Nations while working with Dalet.

Taking on the role of Business Analyst is Shayla Thompson. Shayla is a highly experienced leader throughout the entire software development lifecycle, specializing in data management, financial reporting, and support of sales operations. With more than 20 years of business and technical experience, she builds strong trusting relationships throughout IT organizations and across company lines to bring effective software solutions to reality. She joins TMD from CBS in New York, where she was in a similar role. Her focus will be on understanding customers’ business needs and how TMD’s highly customizable Mediaflex-UMS solutions can be tailored to meet each customers’ business requirements, to help achieve maximum operational efficiencies.

Mustafa Muhammed will join the expanding US Client Services team as a Project Engineer. He joins TMD from PBS station ThinkTV in Ohio where he worked as a Broadcast Engineer. Throughout his career, Mustafa has gained extensive expertise working on broadcast IT projects such as system upgrades as well as infrastructure design, configuration, integration and installations from the ground up.
