Yospace appoints Paul Davies as Head of Marketing

Yospace, the pioneer of server-side ad insertion (SSAI), has appointed Paul Davies as Head of Marketing. He will be responsible for the company’s marketing activity across the globe as the streaming market moves towards advertising-based business models at mass scale.

Yospace has been at the forefront of innovation in SSAI for over 10 years. We work with the biggest names in broadcast across five continents, including long-term partnerships with the likes of DIRECTV and FOX in the USA; Sky Media, ITV, BT Sport, Channel 4 and STV in the UK; Telia and TV4 in Sweden; Optus, Nine, and Seven West Media in Australia. Its technology has been proven to deliver programmatic fill-rates that are consistently ahead of industry standards, with video completion rates over 98%.

Davies re-joins Yospace after a four-year spell at Platform Communications, where he oversaw analyst relations and led international communications campaigns for the likes of Verizon, Yahoo, and NEC. In his previous spell at Yospace, he built and led the company’s marketing function as the company grew to become the global leader in SSAI.

“We’re delighted to welcome Paul back to Yospace,” said Tim Sewell, CEO, Yospace. “The combination of Paul’s extensive SSAI knowledge coupled with his wider sector experience will be invaluable at this exciting time in the next phase of our growth.”

“There is a fantastic opportunity for Yospace right now as the Connected TV advertising market is growing at an incredibly fast pace - and SSAI sits at the heart of it,” said Paul Davies, Head of Marketing at Yospace. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Tim and the rest of the team at such an exciting time.”

Yospace is demonstrating its SSAI technology at IBC, Rai Amsterdam, 15-18 September, on stand 5.C78a. Meetings can be booked via this link:
