Mo-Sys Engineering, a world leader in precision camera tracking solutions for virtual studios and augmented reality, today announces that its StarTracker technology was front and centre of the innovative virtual studio production for BBC Sport’s coverage of the Tokyo Games. Six Ikegami HDK-73 3-CMOS high dynamic range camera systems plus a Hi-Motion II slow-motion camera have been chosen by Oman TV for integration with an outside broadcast production vehicle. Operating from Oman TV’s headquarters in the capital city, Muscat, the newly enhanced vehicle will be deployed for live coverage of sports, cultural and news-related events throughout the sultanate. Xavier University in Cincinnati has chosen Ikegami HDK-99 cameras as part of an upgrade to its athletics live production facilities. The cameras will be deployed for live-to-air program production and in-venue videoboard productions at Cintas Center and other athletics venues.

When C3Studios, Clear Creek Independent School District’s live production student crew, was looking to expand and establish its C3Mobile team, Program Director Amber Pecsenye turned to Marshall Electronics. Tocapture off-site productions including the district’s Robotics Events Center, C3Mobile deploys over 25 Marshall CV730 PTZ cameras, with 20 of the CV730-BK (black) models mounted at the robotics center, one white CV730-WH for beauty shots, and five white CV730-WH’s designated for travel applications.  In addition, C3Mobile utilizes four VS-PTC-IP camera controllers, two of which stay at the robotics center and two for travel.
