Ikegami Electronics (Europe) announces a major addition to its range of broadcast production cameras. Introduced at the April 2022 NAB Show in Las Vegas and now confirmed for the EAME market, the UHK-X750 is a full studio/OB camera optimised for fixed-mount operation on a pedestal or tripod. Integrated into a robust metal housing designed to ensure extreme ruggedness, it includes high frame-rate capture for slow motion applications, global shutter sensors and versatile connectivity.

Ikegami will promote the latest additions to its range of broadcast production camera systems and monitors at Hamburg Open 2022. Globecast, the global solutions provider for media and content management, has announced that it partnered with France Televisions Overseas, and its Regionale Directorate Réunion La 1ère, to trial a 4K pop-up channel on the Indian Ocean island of La Réunion, covering the Grand Raid 2021 in late October. Globecast also worked with Orange to create a trial of 4K contribution over 5G for the event, which facilitated remote production.
