TAG Video Systems Adds Support for NDI 5 and SRT as Part of Ongoing Platform Enhancement

Actus Digital, a leading provider of QA monitoring and compliance logging solutions, today announced a new version of its intelligent media monitoring platform. The next generation of Actus Digital's platform offers simplified but sophisticated tools for multi-viewer monitoring and quality assurance of multi-rendition OTT streams and over-the-air linear content at multi probe points in the video delivery chain. The new platform will be demonstrated during online events, including NAB Amplify, the virtual event held in place of the 2021 NAB Show.

Digital Nirvana, a provider of leading-edge media monitoring and metadata generation services, today announced the upcoming release of MonitorIQ 8.0, the newest version of its AI-driven compliance logging and monitoring tool that integrates with its Media Services Portal. With MonitorIQ 8.0, Digital Nirvana brings the tool's Linux operating system and all included software up to their latest versions. TAG Video Systems, the leader in real-time cloud-based monitoring of linear video workflows, has announced that its MCM-9000 monitoring and multiviewer platform is being used in the ground-breaking 5G-VIRTUOSA project. Funded by the European Union’s (EU) Horizon 2020 initiative and driven by a consortium of international industry leaders, 5G-VIRTUOSA’s mission is to explore the potential of distributed IP production and how future technologies such as 5G and virtualization can provide further capability and flexibility in live production environments. TAG’s MCM-9000 was brought in initially to keep tabs on streams in an on-premises system and was subsequently augmented with a cloud-based multi-location configuration in a later phase of the project. The systems were provided by TAG’s sales and service partner in Germany SHM Broadcast GmbH, which also provided some initial training and support to the project team.

DIT and digital dailies service provider Mission has invested in Leader LV5350 test instruments to support its monitoring of SDR and HDR on-set DIT, lab and DI pipelines. Supplied by Leader Europe distribution partner Thameside, they will be used primarily on location from the company's facility in North Kensington.
