Twas the issue before Christmas;

To do that, Ive picked my favourite production technology innovations of 2012. But, as were fast approaching the festive season, Ive compiled them in the form a Christmas shopping list. Yes, I know. Our third digital revolution?
Bob Pank# A little history the first digital revolution for the TV production and post industries started somewhere about 1972 and then involved introducing digital islands into an analogue world. The introduction of much more affordable digital VTRs such as Sonys DigiBeta in 1993 heralded the beginning of the end of analogue.
