The KitPlus Tour once again attracted record registrations and visitors at MediaCityUk and Shoreditch in June. The tour gives people the chance to see newly released kit from NAB (Las Vegas) for the first time but more importantly to spend quality time with manufacturers learning about new technologies.

The event took a twist this year with an extra day in London where a second seminar stage was occupied by leading associations and guilds such as the GTC, IOV, BECTU and the ITTP all giving workshops and solid advice from Tax for Freelancers to 2 hour studio pedestal training workshops! It was good to see so many groups of people all getting stuck into relevant content.

The main stage was, as usual, fully attended with speakers such as Den Lennie and Alister Chapman with sessions from Business for Filmmakers to Shooting for the Future.

Unlike many other events the Tour is intimate enough for leading experts to lead small groups of visitors around the hall with advice from camera set-up to archiving content. The new camera bar was a massive hit with lighting workshops throughout the day, the event was chosen to show the brand new Sony HXR-NX100 plus many other leading products prior to their european airing at IBC in September.
Plans are now in full swing for our main annual November show and details will all be online soon
