Who’s exhibiting?

A growing band of leading manufacuters and distributors are coming on the tour and (at time of going to print) we are pleased to say Panasonic, NewTek, Blackmagic Design, Cirro Lite, Atomos, Polecam, G-Technology, Holdan, Cache Media, Ianiro, Tariam, PAG, Digital Garage and Tyrell are all joining us at each venue with their latest kit. Expect more names to be added in the coming weeks.

What will I see?

With many exhibotros showing kit just launched at NAB then you can expect some UK “firsts” as well as lighting, power, editing, workflow, cameras, workstations, storage, grip, jibs, monitoring, field recorders, editing and so much more!

What can I learn?

At each venue we have a seminar area where Jonathan Harrison and Rick Young will give the following talks aimed at being interactive and where possible hands on workshop style with plenty of time for Q & A’s.

Morning:-

The Art of Lighting.. The LED story and advanced and specialist documentary lighting techniques and tools
Jonathan Harrison looks at emerging lighting technologies and how they are affecting our imagery and an exciting new mobile piece of lighting magic you can't live without and truly a directors dream.

Filming on location: essential camera gear
When it comes to shooting on location it isn’t just the camera that you gets you results, it is also the accessories: mics, lights, dollies, and of course a portable post production system. You need to choose the right camera and the right accessories to go with it.

In this presentation Producer/Director, Rick Young, will talk about the equipment he uses and travels with, and how to put together and provide a mobile production facility to paying clients.

Afternoon:-

The Art of Lighting on the Run with LED tools
Jonathan shows glossy, fast, efficient lighting techniques for every image maker with the latest and some of the best LED lighting tools that will make your pictures stand out from the crowd.

Large sensor camera technology and post production
Rick looks at large sensor cameras, from DSLRs to the £10 000 + models. What you need to consider when buying into large sensor technology, the workflow, the gains, benefits and tradeoffs.
