New Cinema Camera Gold Mount A SpaceX broadcasts Dragon Mission to ISS B nton/Bauer® has announced its QRC-BMD Gold Mount® solution for the new Blackmagic Design EF (Electro-Focus) and MFT (Micro Four Thirds) Cinema Cameras. Anton/Bauer’s latest introduction further highlights the company’s dedication to providing innovative portable power solutions. As part of the recent mission, SpaceX created an infrastructure to broadcast live feeds of the launch, docking and re-entry. These feeds were shown on SpaceX’s website and through live feeds to some of the world’s largest news sources.  As the Blackmagic EF and MFT Cinema Cameras are equipped with internal batteries that last up to 90 minutes, Anton/Bauer developed the new QRC-BMD Gold Mount to provide users with virtually uninterrupted power. When paired with a battery, such as Anton/Bauer’s DIONIC® HC, the QRC-BMD can provide the camera with 91Wh of power for four hours. The new Gold Mount has also been designed to include Anton/Bauer’s MATRIX Cheese Plate and two PowerTap outlets to power additional accessories easily. lackmagic Design have announced Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) used Blackmagic Design’s ATEM 2 M/E Production Switcher and ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Panel with the recent global broadcast of SpaceXs mission to the International Space Station (ISS). SpaceX also used Blackmagic Design’s Smart Videohub and Universal Videohub routers, SmartView Duo, SmartView HD, ATEM Camera Converters and numerous Mini Converter HDMI to SDIs in their broadcast control room.  The October 7 launch of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, which was the first official commercial cargo resupply mission for NASA, was one of the most exciting developments in space travel in decades. In May of this year, SpaceX was the first private company to send a spacecraft to the space station, a feat that only five governments have ever accomplished.  Breaking the price barrier S nell have announced the launch of the KudosPro MC500, the newest addition to the KudosPro family of cost- effective, broadcast-quality format and standards conversion systems.
