WORLD NEWS Going to the big game with FSU E ditShare®, the technology leader in shared media storage and end-to-end tapeless workflow solutions, has announced that Seminole Productions, an auxiliary organization of Florida State University (FSU), has expanded its existing EditShare platform to include an additional 96TB of shared storage with integrated Flow media asset management and Ark backup and archiving. Located in the FSU athletics department, Seminole oversees a 6000+ square foot complex with two control rooms, a large studio with both green screen and conventional studio setup, and 19 Avid Media Composer 7 suites for use by both students and staff. It also operates a centralized control room that is connected via fibre to the university’s nearby football, baseball and basketball facilities as well as other athletic fields and stadiums. The Seminole production team, which is staffed with a mix of full-time video professionals/instructors and university students, is tasked with covering FSU live events, as well as producing the university’s pre- and post- game shows. New green-field broadcast centre D anmon Systems Group has announced the completion of a green-field broadcast centre for Lào Cai Radio & Television, Vietnam. Facilities at the new complex include a studio stage with a multi-tiered auditorium, a news studio, a multi-function studio, news production control suite, post-production suites and a continuity suite.  “The core of this project is in full 1080i high-definition,” explains Bjarne Pedersen, Systems Sales Director, Danmon Asia. “The station is designed and equipped to accept, store, post-produce and transmit content in any format and any aspect ratio. We have provided dedicated outputs for terrestrial and satellite delivery as well as streaming both via video-over-IP and to mobile viewing platforms.
