TRAINING Discover Sony´s Digital Motion Picture Centre in Europe at Pinewood Studios, a place for Europe’s film-making community to come together to share passion and knowledge T he Digital Motion Picture Centre in Europe is located at one of the world’s leading destinations for makers of film, television and commercials: Pinewood Studios in the UK. At DMPC(E) you can develop your craft, experience cutting edge technology and meet with Industry colleagues. The ﬁrst DMPC was opened in Culver City, California and attracts Cinematographers, DITs, ﬁlm crews and post-production professionals from around the world. So we´re now creating another one, this time at an iconic location in Europe: Pinewood Studios. or attend a scheduled training course, you can tailor your own experience. We have currently set-up the ﬁrst series of free, twice weekly workshops “From script to screen with CineAlta” at Pinewood Studios. CineAlta is revolutionising the way that feature ﬁlms, TV dramas, documentaries, music promos and commercials are being created. This workshop will equip you with an understanding of the processes required to produce your next idea for the big screen with CineAlta. What you can learn in this workshop: Staffed by a dedicated team of specialists, you can talk to Sony face-to-face and meet the people behind the technology. But we don’t just want to tell you about our products, we want you to have the opportunity to experience them. At DMPC(E), you’ll be able to see how they work, how they integrate into a complete workﬂow and how they push the art of ﬁlm-making to new limits. • Set up and operation of the F65, F55 and F5 CineAlta cameras. Alongside the Sony team, you’ll also have access to our network of alliance partners. That means you can see full workﬂows in action, from operation on set to colour grading in post. • Viewing the result.
