NEWS Multiple D-Day 70th Anniversary services 2 014 sees the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day landings and Globecast provided both ad-hoc services as well as international coverage for the host broadcaster on June 6th. The Allied landings one of the most significant events of WW2 were commemorated on June 6th in France. Across Normandie there’s a huge range of additional events that have been organised to ensure that the events of 70 years ago live long in the memory. Globecast supplied the international host broadcaster signal and all the main pool signals from the main commemoration sites. It also had three stand-up positions for ad-hoc clients who wanted to cover the event, including complete transmission services as required. Scrub installed and configured the S6 in a new audio suite in Envy’s second building in Rathbone Place, Soho, where it will be used for the quick turnaround of film trailers, VOD, high-production online content and more. The S6 is a fully customisable and modular system that provides ENVY with the option to select the individual modules as needed and tailor the console configuration to suit their workflow. ENVY has chosen an 8-fader M10 S6 with Pro Tools HDX and version 11 software.
