COMMENT Den Lennie was great. Jonathan Harrison needed much more time! Seminars: A bit crowded at the Sony FS7 talk Demand for the workshops was very high. We have a new layout planned for June 2015 so stay tuned, you won’t be disappointed. I would have attended the drones talk, but 17:30 was too late for me. The later open times were a new idea which, combined with great seminar content, proved popular. Sorry you missed it but you can watch a recorded version here... With so much to say and so little time we had to limit the seminars in time which is frustrating we know. We do make sure though that the speakers are around all day to individually answer your questions so hopefully you got to chat to Jonathan anyway. And the unmentionable... Not too keen on the portaloos. Unfortunately due to the great location in Shoreditch and the volume of people registered then we had to instigate additional toilet facilities at the last minute (we did go for the premium model). Tour competition winners announced Miller Tripods have been celebrating their 60 th anniversary in 2014 and donated one of their limited edition LP’54 classic Tripods to our Tour raffle in aid of Dreamflight raising £1040. You can watch the draw and presentation to winner, Peter Baughan, here: Hireacamera were offering a Sony FS7 hire for a week to a lucky winner and these were drawn out with Simon Edwards of Pop Up Media taking the prize in London and from Media City was Jack Ebden of Insight Video Services. We’ll be catching up with them both in due course to hear what they think of the camera. 42 | KITPLUS - THE TV-BAY MAGAZINE: ISSUE 96 DECEMBER 2014
