With the latest SE-2200 and HS-2200 HD production switchers, users have the option to connect any Windows laptop with an HDMI output and use cost-effective Datavideo CG software to generate and play out stunning real-time motion titles. Featuring a built-in overlay board, the new low-cost SE-2200 and HS-2200 switchers can deliver broadcast-level graphics with no need for an SDI interface card and high specifi cation workstation. These switchers are designed to be portable, ready for use on location. This would normally mean that producers had to rely on titles stored in memory or pre-prepared in presentation software. With the new 2200 range, Datavideo users can use a laptop to make and amend titles on the fl y, giving the audience real-time information, whether its live scores or breaking news. Comments Allan Leonhardsen, Director of Holdan, the UK Datavideo distributor.
