Designed to transport, protect and give users fast access to their kit, the Run& Gun series is available initially in three sizes: medium sized, for handheld cameras, up to extra large for the Arri Alexa, Sony F55 or Panasonic Varicam. The black bags are weather resistant and reinforced to fully protect lenses and sensitive electronic kit. For added security, the base is waterproofed and equipped with a protective armoured plate. “There is so much attention to detail, from the suede strap to the fade-resistant fabric and the strength of the zippers,” said Allan Leonhardsen, owner of CamRade’s UK distributor Holdan. Stand J26 Camera Support Miller Fluid Heads (Europe) will showcase its Cineline 70 Fluid Head and Air Tripod System at BVE 2015 (Stand J26). Constructed of corrosion-resistant alloy, the Cineline 70 Fluid Head is said to be ideal for use on feature films, documentaries and commercials and other projects that require heavy payload, frequent re-rigging and a diverse range of lenses and cameras. It has an eight-position counterbalance system, with all-in-one location rear-mounted controls, and a fluid head that features an extended sliding range for rebalancing of the rig when changes in lenses and accessories result in weight distribution shifts. “As BVE is the largest broadcast and production technology event in the UK, it is crucial that Miller showcases its latest cost-effective camera support solutions that can be real assets to broadcasters due to their supreme versatility,” said Mike Lippmann, European manager, Miller. www.millertripods.com It is based on the standard 15mm x 60mm pitch rod system, so it can be used in conjunction with other manufacturer’s components, such as follow focus systems, or parts of the Hague support can be added to other manufacturer’s rigs. The dual shoulder camera support rig can be purchased as a complete rig or as individual parts. The dual shoulder support rests on both shoulders to give the camera much more stability than rigs that just rest on one shoulder. As all the rigs weight is in front of the shoulders, having it resting on both shoulders is much more effective, however if the operator prefers the rig to rest on a one shoulder the rig can be adjusted for single shoulder operation. The clamp on the support secures it to the two rods. The quick release camera plate makes it easy to get your camera on and off the rig and is compatible with most popular Manfrotto video heads. The clamp on the camera plate secures it to the rods with easy adjustment forward or back to get the camera into the required position. The two support rods connect all the parts together. If the rig is purchased as a complete unit it will be supplied with 300mm long support rods. Other lengths are available as optional extras.
