MAM A Mediafl ex asset management system has been installed at the new London playout centre for Sweden’s Modern Times Group (MTG). MTG London serves the Nordic region with free-to-air and pay-TV channels, each localised by country and by sub-regions for advertising. The new playout centre supports audio in eight languages and a further 14 subtitle languages. In its previous operations much of this re-versioning work required manual intervention while asset management was spread across multiple databases and workfl ow systems. The requirement for the new centre was a single asset management register, fully automated playout and the ability to design new workfl ows in-house. Replacing a legacy system, the TMD Mediafl ex asset management platform was installed to work directly with Pebble Beach Marina playout automation, mirroring MTG’s playout centre in Riga, Latvia. www.tmd.tv Are you looking for an inexpensive, bookable, Ka band satellite uplink?
