NEWS MOVE & DELIVER Live IP video At CCW Dejero will showcase new features in LIVE+ Control, its cloud- based management, monitoring, and reporting tool for IP video workflows. LIVE+ Control locates, controls and manages Dejero LIVE+ video transmission products - including EnGo, GoBox, VSET, NewsBook, and Mobile App - using a web browser interface. It allows for connection and transmission performance to be monitored using real- time analytics. Users can also preview and route live and recorded feeds to a LIVE+ Broadcast Server for traditional playout or to a LIVE+ Cloud Server for distribution to Web and mobile devices. At the show the company will also tout: LIVE+ Multipoint for cloud-based sharing of live video content; LIVE+ EnGo, the modular transmitter for remote video acquisition; and the LIVE+ Mobile App for mobile journalists and video contributors. www.dejero.com IP gateways Media Links EMEA is developing a range of IP gateways for broadcasters. Like its current product portfolio, the new products will convert established broadcast signals so that they can be transported via IP across established internal and external networks. “The new range will be available at an entry level price point, opening doors to a wider market place,” said John Smith, head of Media Links EMEA. “Following discussions at IBC we anticipate sports broadcasters will be particularly interested in this technology as it enables signals to be transmitted from numerous remote venues such as football stadiums or other sports facilities, over established telcos networks, with both hitless switching and zero data loss. “ Media Links IP gateways work by enabling traditional 3DHDI/ SDI broadcast signals to be encoded into an IP data stream.  Sync is ensured with IP Genlock over multiple points on the network, using IEEE 1588V2 Precision Time Protocol.  www.medialinks.com 30 | KITPLUS - THE TV-BAY MAGAZINE: ISSUE 107 NOVEMBER 2015
