On-screen graphics Reality Check Systems (RCS) is teaming up with Vizrt to offer a special version of LaunchPad for Euro 2016 and Copa America. The plug-and-play full screen graphics and highlight analysis package is designed to be used in the studio programming elements during tournament coverage. It combines Opta data with dynamic RCS templates and the Vizrt graphics and video compositing technology Viz Engine as well as the Viz Libero 3D analysis toolset. Launchpad can be controlled by a switcher or a touchscreen pad. The combined offering, which will be on display in 4K at NAB (booth SL2417), will be made available as a complete system for the duration of both competitions. Euro 2016 and Copa America data will include results, standings, fixtures, in-match stats and player and team profiles; and more are instantly available on-air. The turnkey offering includes the graphics hardware and software, Opta data and a 65 touchscreens. Loudness RTW will use NAB (booth C2336) to showcase its Continuous Loudness Control (CLC) Software. The CLC signal processing software, developed in cooperation with the Institut fr Rundfunktechnik, allows users to constantly control and regulate to a given programme-loudness value, along with a definable loudness range with minimal obstacles. The major asset of the complex adaptive morphing algorithm is its realtime capability. The CLC algorithm “learns” during processing about the dynamic structure and intention of the sound signal, and continuously adapts to predict what comes next. CLC software is able to handle most common DAW software, audio and files, and meets EBU-R128 and all other major global loudness standard specifications. Also on show will be the Masterclass Plug-ins (Loudness and Mastering Tools) and the TM3- Primus with USB Connect Tool. Keyboards Editors Keys has launched its first wireless editing shortcut keyboards for audio producers, video editors and graphic designers and a range of budget friendly slim-line keyboards. The colour- coded keyboards contain all programme shortcut keys for Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Avid Media Composer, Presonus Studio One and Ableton Live. “Having a full length wireless keyboard with you at all times means you can enjoy the benefits of portability without compromising on the time saving shortcuts a full keypad provides,” said Jonny Elwyn, broadcast editor and trainer.
