Playout PlayBox Technology has appointed former Vector 3 sales manager Van Duke as its new US sales manager. In his new role Duke will head up the newly established PlayBox Technology USA office in Florida. This will be Duke’s second stint at Playbox having previously been a country manager from 2006 to 2009. PlayBox Technology president Don Ash said: “We are delighted that he has chosen to rejoin us. Van has exactly the mix of talents we need for this high-profile role.” Van Duke started his broadcast industry career in 1978 as an engineer at WTVJ TV-6 in Miami.
