TV Direct has upgraded its ingest, channel branding and automated playout infrastructure to a full PlayBox Neo (4:37) system in corporation with playout service-provider PSI Broadcasting. CJP Broadcast Service Solutions (5:19) took a leading role in the design, engineering and implementation of the practical facilities at the School of Digital Arts (SODA) at Manchester Metropolitan University.

disguise (7:42) has announced that for the first time, Cannes attendees will be able to access five days of virtual production activities powered by its platform at the film festival’s inaugural Virtual Production Summit.

A new location has opened up for Video Europe (8:18) in Cardiff which has long been an important centre for media, and it continues to thrive with major studios and production companies active in the region. Another new location for ES Broadcast (8:48) who has opened a new equipment hire office in Reims, France.

The use of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) systems continues to gain momentum around the world and Broadcast Solutions (9:19) has delivered another mobile VAR unit to the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). Angekis (9:47) has announced the launch of its latest product, the Saber X, a professional PTZ camera designed for high-end video production.
