AKA Design furniture chosen for Abbey Roads three new studio spaces plus mix room refurb Posted: 30/05/2017
Following the successful installation of an Avid S6 desk for Giles Martin, AKA Design technical furniture was chosen for Abbey Road Studios' three brand new studio spaces the biggest transformation since the studios opened in 1931 plus a refurb of Studio 52.

ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS INVESTS IN NTP DAD AX24 DIGITAL AUDIO CONVERTERS Posted: 25/08/2010
Abbey Road Studios, one of the world's longest-established and most highly respected recording companies, has taken delivery of four NTP DAD AX24 eight-channel ultra-high-quality analogue-to-digital/digital-to-analogue audio signal converters. All four will be deployed during recording sessions as microphone preamplifiers and analogue-to-MADI interfaces. They will be operated in conjunction with Abbey Road's Pyramix digital audio workstations. Two of the units are additionally fitted with the IO192-PHD interface card allowing them to work with Avid Protools.

Prism Sound And Sadie Play A Vital Role In The Success Of Abbey Roads Beatles Remastering Project Posted: 26/10/2009
Prism Sound converters and SADiE mastering equipment played a vital role in Abbey Roads marathon four year project to digitally remaster the entire original Beatles catalogue.

The project, which involved 13 albums, took many hours of work by Abbey Roads specialist engineering team. This was led by project coordinator Allan Rouse and included Guy Massey (Senior Recording Engineer), Steve Rooke (Senior Mastering Engineer), Paul Hicks (Recording Engineer), Sean Magee (Mastering Engineer), Sam Okell (Recording Engineer) and Simon Gibson (Audio Restoration Engineer).
