Accedo, the global video solutions provider, today announced it has worked with A+E Networks EMEA to develop and deploy a new true-crime streaming service, Crime+Investigation Play, which is powered by Accedo One, Accedo’s award-winning SaaS offering for state-of-the art multi-screen video services.
A+E Networks EMEA is a leading media provider of factual and entertainment content reaching viewers across multiple countries. The company has long distributed its content by partnering with pay TV operators such as Sky and partners like Amazon. However, amidst growing popularity of its Crime+ Investigation brand across linear and SVOD, it decided to launch its own direct-to-consumer true crime streaming service.
Accedo One is a SaaS platform that enables global media companies to deliver impactful video experiences across multiple devices. It offers users the ability to quickly configure and launch branded streaming applications on the most popular OTT platforms, including but not limited to web, mobile, and TVs. It also provides an extensive marketplace of pre-integrated partner vendors, so that companies can create their own unique back-end vendor stack, without writing a single line of code. For example, this set-up enabled A+E Network EMEA to integrate with JUMP Data-Driven Video for advanced analytics and insights, enabling business centric evaluation and optimization of the service.
Furthermore, Accedo One’svisual WYSIWYG editor allows the company’s editorial team to easily curate content and manage the user interface across platforms from one consolidated place.
