Hiring Post provides live ingest and editing facilities for Aurora Media at The Goodwood Revival Posted: 16/10/2017

Hiring Post has provided Aurora Media with the latest live ingest and editing facilities for use by Auroras on-site team at the Goodwood Revival 2017. The company supplied a Quadrus Ingest Machine multi-channel live ingest system for transcoding four live channels of HD-SDI video with audio to the in-house editing format of ProRes 422. The media was immediately available for editing, housed on an Avid NEXIS media server and a QNAP® server for full back-up.

KFX CEO Stephen Scammell said KFX Technology  is located in New York but I started in London, designing and building portable motion control equipment that would function reliably in the extreme conditions encountered in BBCs Frozen Planet series. In 2012 I moved my base to New York and subsequently designed the Aurora Remote Head, which has been very successful and has been used in some of Hollywoods blockbuster movies.

Harmonic to Sell Cable Access Business to Aurora Networks for $46 million Posted: 21/02/2013

Harmonic Inc. (NASDAQ: HLIT), the worldwide leader in video delivery infrastructure, announced today it has reached an agreement to sell its Cable Access business to Aurora Networks, Inc. for $46 million in cash. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2013. In addition, consistent with ongoing efforts to review its capital structure and to deliver value to all its stockholders, Harmonic's Board of Directors has approved an increase to its current share repurchase program to include the net, after-tax cash proceeds from this transaction of approximately $35 million, contingent upon its closing.
