TV EVERYWHERE LINKS UP WITH OBJECT MATRIX FOR DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTION Posted: 05/02/2013

TV Everywhere has announced a tie up with nearline storage experts Object Matrix to deliver scalable local cloud media management solutions.

The partnership sees TV Everywheres Mstorer media asset management system integrated with Object Matrixs MatrixStore media storage system to enable a local cloud solution for customers who wish to keep some or all of their assets in-house on the corporate network.

Were clearly moving to a world where keeping assets in the cloud is becoming more and more acceptable, comments TV Everywhere CEO, Iolo Jones. But for very large files being used in the asset production process, it still makes much more sense to keep these local until the production is complete. This is where Object Matrix comes in. They have proven, highly scalable storage solutions that can cope with the massive growth brought about by Big Data.
