Uniform brand strategy assures RTS a more focused market presence in the broadcast sector

For many years, the brands RTS and Telex have stood for state-of-the-art equipment in the communications and broadcasting sectors. In order to offer customers greater transparency and exhibit a unified market presence, the product range of the two sister brands will in future be marketed under a single brand name: henceforth, all Telex broadcasting products will bear the common brand name: RTS.

RTS intercoms sail with AIDA fleet Posted: 17/06/2013
RTS intercoms sail with AIDA fleet
With AIDAstella, the fleet of shipping company AIDA Cruises now numbers ten vessels. The installation of the interactive communication systems as well as the stage and entertainment equipment on all the cruisers of the AIDA line was the work of the Hamburg-based sound specialists Amptown System Company (ASC). When it comes to intercom systems, Stefan Thomsen, ASCs communications specialist, has long relied upon solutions from RTS. AIDAstella, AIDAluna, AIDAblu and AIDAsol are all equipped with independent intercom systems. These secure communications within the Theatrium in the central area of the ship as well as on the pool deck. There is also a third system on board each ship reserved for mobile applications.

SuperSport relies on RTS TELEX in new OB truck

With no fewer than 24 channels, SuperSport, a subsidiary of the MIH Group, is the leading sports broadcaster on the African continent. Its programming, which can also be seen in neighboring sub-Saharan countries, includes sporting events from all over the world, broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To meet not only the present but also the future expectations of its viewers, SuperSport recently invested in a new HD outside broadcast truck: the OB6HD, a high-end vehicle in every respect and one with exceptional capabilities, thanks to the lavish array of high-tech equipment on board, not least among which are its 28 high definition cameras. The design and implementation of the installation was the work of Sony PSE (Professional Solutions Europe) at their premises in Basingstoke (UK). SuperSport's new reference vehicle will be used primarily for the live transmission of sporting events.

Egypts first HD channel relies on RTS TELEX

With a massive new program of investment in its Nile TV International channel, which first went on air in 1994, Egyptian state television has prepared the way for the country's first-ever broadcasts in HD quality. As part of the program, two of the channel's studios have been completely redesigned and reequipped. Work on the project, now in its practice-oriented test phase, was completed in 2010. The task of specifying and installing an intercom system for the new studios was entrusted to the Egyptian company System Design, which cooperated with RTS/TELEX's Egyptian partner Manial Business Center (MBC Broadcast) regarding the systems design.
