VB12-RF - Ruggedized, Portable Broadcast-IP Probe for Cable and Terrestrial Diagnostics
The new VB12-RF is the most portable comprehensive monitoring/measurement appliance available. Designed for real-world use by engineers on the road, the VB12-RF packs every required broadcast and IP interface into a ruggedized chassis with a form factor smaller than a laptop computer. It is smaller, lighter, and tougher than any alternative, with the widest range of built-in interfaces for RF, ASI, and IP; full TR101290 alarming and analysis; and support for all professional media transportation codecs. The VB12-RF is far more practical, complete, and robust than traditional larger, heavier, and fragile PC-based alternatives.
VB262 - DUAL QAM/8VSB Input Option With Built-In Spectrum Analytics
The VB262 DUAL QAM/8VSB input option card is the solution for complete monitoring in DVB-C or hybrid DVB-C/IP networks, now with optional built-in spectrum analytics capability for advanced RF analysis. Up to four independent RF inputs can be analyzed in one 1RU chassis. A very cost-effective multipurpose analysis tool, the VB262 provides a powerful real-time QAM/8VSB monitoring and alarm solution ideal for RF, cable, terrestrial, and PBS operators in the United States. The VB262, in combination with the VB220 or VB120 controller, is perfect for hybrid networks where IP is used as a carrier from the head-end to the regional edge-multiplexer/modulator/transmitter. The built-in round-robin functionality allows sequential analysis of multiple QAM or 8VSB multiplexes, making it possible to monitor the total broadcast contents of a cable transmission system using a single VB262. One or two VB262 modules can be specified in a single probe together with a VB220 controller, allowing high-density monitoring of up to 260 MPTS/SPTS multicasts in addition to the RF inputs.
microVB(TM) With Analytics
The microVB(TM) is a breakthrough in miniaturized remote monitoring and analysis for digital media applications. Now with advanced auto configuration for plug-and-play setup and an enhanced user interface, microVB adds the final link in the VideoBRIDGE monitoring system chain to provide in-depth packet analysis for broadcast and OTT (over the top) services, giving operators completely integrated end-to-end monitoring from satellite to set-top box. Robust and small enough to be delivered to the customer by mail, and with simple, plug-and-play installation, microVB is the first cost-effective and technically viable solution for gathering continuous real-time time data about the performance at the viewer's set-top box. On installation between the set-top box and television, microVB automatically locates a server on the operator's VideoBRIDGE network and begins sending data, enabling deep packet inspection without requiring a technician to visit the customer's home to install the device or diagnose problems.
VideoBRIDGE 4.5 Software
The new 4.5 software release adds the following enhancements and upgrades: All VideoBRIDGE probes include a range of enhancements and new features including audio metering with large thumbnail real-time display, Cop3.2 FEC detection and analysis, enhanced security settings for more comprehensive access control, software upgrade and upload via the Web interface, advanced auto threshold settings for RF interfaces, alarm filtering and scheduling for services and PIDs, and major usability enhancements to the Eii(TM) (External Integration Interface). The VideoBRIDGE Controller (VBC) now includes central alarm scheduling and an enhanced equipment view and configuration controls. The VB280 Content Extractor also receives new real-time large thumbnail displays, audio metering, and content detail display.
EACC New Chassis - Increased Resilience for VideoBRIDGE Probes
Bridge Technologies introduces a new EACC chassis for VideoBRIDGE probes, further increasing ruggedness and resilience for remote operation in extreme conditions. The new chassis features redundant power supplies, front-to-back airflow, six high-speed fans, and high-grade cast alloy metalwork. The new chassis has also been engineered to accept future generations of high-power/high-bandwidth cards.
