Brighton Local TV adopts Panasonic Posted: 22/08/2014

Brighton TV has announced that it will adopt Panasonic technology for its studio and location production needs when it goes on air at the end of August 2014.

The new broadcaster has invested in a range of P2 camera equipment after an extended testing period. The Sussex-based channel will use HPX250 and PX270 camcorders for news gathering and location reporting, while adapted HPX255 units will provide camera facilities for the seafront TV studio.

Blackmagic Design today announced that production house Brightonart Ltd built a comprehensive AV control solution around Blackmagic Designs ATEM 1 M/E Production Switcher to capture runway looks from Vauxhall Fashion Scout, the largest independent showcase of the Fall 2012 London Fashion Week.

Internationally recognized as a driving force behind innovation in fashion, Vauxhall Fashion Scout actively promotes both new and seasoned designers to an international audience through catwalk shows, presentations, fashion films and exhibitions. Based during London Fashion Week at the Freemasons Hall in central London, Fashion Scout looked to Brightonart to produce the catwalk videos that would be uploaded to Vimeo.

Brighton Goes Gospel is that city’s renowned non-religious community gospel choir, entirely run by volunteers. To mark its 10th anniversary, the choir staged a night of gospel music in the Brighton Dome’s Concert Hall before Christmas, a high-spec visual event featuring six cameras and a mix solution using the latest video products from Roland Systems Group.
