Broadcast Technology Leaders Join Forces to Demonstrate ATSC 3.0 Local Ad Insertion at the 2017 NAB Show Posted: 25/04/2017
At the 2017 NAB Show, Ericsson, Sony Electronics, and Triveni Digital will team up to demonstrate an end-to-end ATSC 3.0 workflow for individualized ad insertion using ATSC 3.0 signaling, ROUTE/DASH transport, and transmission. The first-of-its-kind demo provides broadcasters with a streamlined solution for personalizing advertising in the next-generation television environment. The demo will take place at the "NextGen TV Hub" during the 2017 NAB Show in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Chinas Dalian TV outfits new OB van with SAM technology Posted: 24/05/2016

SAM announced today that Dalian TV, the Chinese regional broadcaster based in Liaoning Province, has incorporated SAMs Kahuna 6400 switcher and Sirius 830 router into its new OB van that was built by Chinas Beijing Xingguang Film & TV Equipment Technologies. The deal also included the purchase of a KudosPro image processing platform as well as six frames of SAMs IQ Modular interfacing and processing technology. With the launch of its new OB van, Dalian TV has expanded its coverage to include sports, entertainment, music, and other live events, casting a wider net within the region and delivering more choices to its viewers.

Reality Check Systems Scores Assist for Top European Football Leagues Posted: 14/03/2014

Reality Check Systems (RCS) recently wrapped up two ambitious projects bringing advanced graphics and data capabilities to Eredivisie and Bundesliga. Working closely with European production company Endemol Sport, RCS created a robust graphics hub to facilitate the broadcast of consistent high-quality graphics for Eredivisie football matches, which air exclusively on FOX Sports Netherlands; the centralized solution comprises proprietary software, data management apps and Vizrt Engines.
