TCS Skquattro camera pedestals chosen for Royal Shakespeare Company live telecast of Richard II

Skquattro tracking camera support systems from The Camera Store (TCS), a Vitec Group company, captured the Royal Shakespeare Company's highly acclaimed production of Richard II in Stratford-on-Avon on November 13. The play was televised live to 346 cinemas across Britain and will be relayed as encore screenings to cinemas around the world. RSC artistic director Gregory Doran directed David Tennant in the title role with Jane Lapotaire as the Duchess of Gloucester, Emma Hamilton as The Queen, Oliver Ford Davies as the Duke of York, Michael Pennington as John of Gaunt and Nigel Lindsay as Bolingbroke.
TCS Skquattro tracks National Theatre Live performance of Alan Bennetts People

A Skqattro tracking pedestal from The Camera Store (a Vitec Group company) followed the action during a National Theatre Live broadcast of Alan Bennett's new play, People, for cinema audiences around the world which took place on 21 March. Frances de la Tour plays Dorothy, joined by Selina Cadell and Linda Bassett.
A Skquattro pedestal from TCS (a Vitec Group company) formed the basis for creative new shooting techniques during production of The Voice UK in early April. Blind auditions for the second series were shot for the first time in HQ1, the 12,500 square metre Dock 10 studio at Salford Quays, for transmission on BBC One.
ARRI teams with The Camera Store to demonstrate ALEXA Broadcast camera at BVE 2013

ARRI has chosen a Vinten Osprey Elite pedestal plus a Vector 430 pan and tilt head from The Camera Store (a Vitec Group company) as part of an ALEXA camera demonstration scheduled for BVE 2013 in London's ExCel, 26-28 February. The demonstration is being arranged by ARRI CT in conjunction with ARRI Media.
