Sony unveils new generation of live production system cameras
At IBC 2018, Sony has unveiled four new live production system cameras, further expanding and evolving Sony HDC family well acclaimed by broadcasters and media companies across the globe. The next generation of system cameras (HDC-P50, HDC-3500) feature the world’s first* 2/3-inch 4K global shutter three CMOS sensor system, and the newly developed HD HDR optical block (HDC-3100/HDC-3170). The new cameras offer content creators unprecedented flexibility and reliability, in addition to the uncompromised, premium 4K/HDHDR picture quality they have come to expect from Sony solutions.

IBC 2015 Preview: Ikegami Announces HDL-57 Full-Digital Compact 3-CMOS HDTV Camera Ikegami announces a new addition to its range of broadcast quality television cameras. The HDL-57 is a compact high-definition camera designed for use on remotely controlled pan/tilt heads in applications such as parliamentary television or robotic studios. It can also be used wherever a high-grade fixed-position compact camera is required for intercutting with the output from full-size studio cameras. Camera head and controller are housed in a single robust rectangular unit measuring 90 x 103 x 180 mm (width x depth x height) and weighing 1.5 kg. The HDL-57 can be operated remotely or via its rear control panel.
