CJP Broadcast announces the completion of a system relocation project for Core London TV, one of Britain's leading corporate television production companies. CJP provided de-rig and installation services, assisting the move from studio premises near Victoria station to new facilities at Borough near London Bridge.

"The building Core occupied in Victoria was due for complete refurbishment so there was a tight timeline to get the new studio up and running," says CJP Broadcast Managing Director Chris Phillips. "We were approached because some of our engineers were part of the TSL team which installed the original system. Our role was to decommission control room cabling at the Victoria studio, then install and test the system in new production headquarters at 215-221 Borough High Street. The new system was fully up and running by mid December, just two weeks from commencing the move."

"The studio is capable of creating green-screen productions using up to four cameras," adds CJP Broadcast Technical Manager James Ruddock. "Core London TV uses a NewTek Tricaster production system for graphics, recording and vision mixing. Audio facilities centre on an Allen & Heath QU24 digital mixing desk in conjunction with Sennheiser wireless microphones and in-ear monitors. It is a compact system augmented by software such as Adobe After Effects, delivering impressive results in the hands of Core's creative staff."
