PEBBLE CHOSEN BY BRAZIL and rsquo;S TV BANDEIRANTES FOR NEW AGRIBUSINESS CHANNEL AGRO+

Leading playout automation and channel in a box specialist, Pebble Beach Systems, today announced that Brazilian broadcaster TV Bandeirantes (known as Band) has launched its new Agro+ channel with Pebble’s Marina and Dolphin systems at the heart of its operation.

Agro+ is a specialised channel aimed at the country's vital agribusiness industry and was launched on 22 June. With programming covering all aspects of the industry, the fully file-based channel is split across two sites, with its main headquarters in Brasilia and Master Control based in São Paulo. Pebble’s flagship Marina automation solution controls Dolphin integrated channel devices which handle branding, graphics and loudness control for the channel. The original technology was installed by Pebble’s local reseller, Videodata, who also carried out the remote commissioning for this new launch.

Vision247 launches GOD TV on Internet-connected UK Freeview

Broadcast specialist Vision247, announces the expansion of its UK connected FreeviewHD package of channels with the inclusion of global Christian broadcaster, GOD TV. This new channel further expands Freeviews faith based programming following the successful delivery by Vision247 of Christian TV on Channel 228, and Muslim programming on Vision TV Network 2, on channel 230.

Launched by Rory and Wendy Alec in 1995, GOD TV was Europe's first daily Christian television network. GOD TV has a long history of embracing innovative broadcast technologies from multi-satellite and cable, to mobile, streaming players and Internet VOD. Now, with the support of Vision247, GOD TV is using over the top (OTT) Internet delivery to terrestrial Freeview in order to extend its message to the UK audience from its global transmission centre in Jerusalem. Extending its reach throughout 200 nations and now including connected homes, the channel broadcasts to a potential audience of more than 600 million worldwide.
