Colorado-based Flatirons Community Church first began working with FOR-A switchers in 2011, when the house of worship purchased an HVS-350HS 1.5 M/E unit for its main campus in the town of Lafayette. Upon the recent opening of its West Campus in Genesee to support the ministrys continuing growth, the church was in the market for a new video switcher. Having been so pleased with its FOR-A switcher, Flatirons Community Church had no doubts about staying within the FOR-A family for its new unit. The church purchased an HVS-390HS 2 M/E switcher for its main campus, and moved its HVS-350HS switcher to its new satellite campus earlier this year.

Kensington Church Relies on FOR-A Video Switcher While Transitioning to Full HD Production Posted: 29/07/2013

Kensington Church had been using their existing switcher for years when they decided to upgrade to a FOR-A HVS-390HS video switcher, but the move came sooner than expected when the current switcher gave out right before Easter weekend. The metro Detroit-based church called in local systems integrator Advanced Lighting & Sound to gut out the old equipment, install the new HVS-390HS switcher, have it operational for service the next morning, and show a volunteer how to use it. Thanks to the integrators expertise, some hard work, and the user friendly HVS-390HS switcher, Kensington Church went on to produce hiccup-free holiday weekend services and has been relying on the switcher ever since.

NEW PSALMIST BAPTIST CHURCH INSTALLS FIVE HITACHI Z-HD5000 MULTIFORMAT HD CAMERAS Posted: 14/12/2010
New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD recently installed five new Hitachi Z-HD5000 multi-format HD cameras within the 4,000-seat main sanctuary of its new multi-million-dollar worship center, known as The Holy City of Zion.

Besides enhancing the worship experience for churchgoers, the high-def video is used to produce The Empowering Disciples Broadcast, a highly rated, half-hour religious HDTV program produced weekly for over-the-air broadcast on WJZ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Baltimore.
When we first saw these cameras at NAB in April 2010, we realized that their price point would enable us to meet our goal to offer broadcast-quality, high-definition video while sticking to our budget, said Minister Joshua Thomas, multi-media and creative arts technician for New Psalmist Baptist Church. Hitachi put us in the best position to maximize our budget without compromising quality.
