Program Details Announced for HPA ALL IN

HPA today announced program details for ALL IN, a free virtual event taking place May 24-27. Presented by HPA ALL, the foundational program driving HPA-led actions focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the industry, ALL IN is a week-long virtual event to raise awareness and promote DEI efforts in the industry. ALL IN will feature industry leading expert presentations, live discussions, and meet ups. All presentations of ALL IN are scheduled between 11 AM and 12:30 PDT, facilitating conversations about this important work between community members in locations around the world.

Leading playout automation and channel in a box specialist, Pebble Beach Systems, today announced that Brazilian broadcaster TV Bandeirantes (known as Band) has launched its new Agro+ channel with Pebble’s Marina and Dolphin systems at the heart of its operation.

Agro+ is a specialised channel aimed at the country's vital agribusiness industry and was launched on 22 June. With programming covering all aspects of the industry, the fully file-based channel is split across two sites, with its main headquarters in Brasilia and Master Control based in São Paulo. Pebble’s flagship Marina automation solution controls Dolphin integrated channel devices which handle branding, graphics and loudness control for the channel. The original technology was installed by Pebble’s local reseller, Videodata, who also carried out the remote commissioning for this new launch.

Osprey Video Scaling HDMI and SDI Video Converters Now Shipping
Osprey Video today announced that its two new small-form-factor scaling converters are now shipping. The HSCSA-2 converts HDMI video to SDI, and the SHCSA-2 converts 3G-SDI video to HDMI. After conversion, each model performs scaling, frame-rate conversion, deinterlacing, and audio embedding and de-embedding on the resulting signal. The new scaling converters are unique in their ability to both embed and de-embed audio within a single unit.

RTP Madeira installs two Solid State Logic C10 consoles RTP Madeira, a regional Portuguese television channel operated by Rdio e Televis£o de Portugal, has upgraded its production facilities with two Solid State Logic C10 HD Compact Broadcast Consoles. The station produces programming and news for cable distribution to the Madeira Islands and via satellite for the Azores Islands. The C10 HD consoles, part of a move into an all-HD digital production workflow, are supported by two XLogic Alpha-Link Live I/O units and four Alpha-Link 8 RMP eight-channel microphone preamp units controllable from the console.
