Oscar Nominated On My Mind Delivered with DaVinci Resolve Studio

Blackmagic Design today announced that the Oscar nominated short film “On My Mind” was edited, graded and composited in DaVinci Resolve Studio. Directed by Martin Strange-Hansen, the bittersweet tale mixes memoir and fiction and was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Short Film (Live Action) category. With cinematography by Ian Hansen, the film was post produced by Thomas Engell of Copenhagen based post production house Sound of Sunrise.

Blackmagic Design today announced that the new post production studio ARTONE FILM has installed DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, color grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software and DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panels for its grading services. ARTONE FILM, founded by experienced colorists Masahiro Ishiyama and Toshiki Kamei, specializes in color correction and since its opening in 2021 has worked on many projects, including Netflix originals, feature films, commercials and music videos.

Blackmagic Design today announced that DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, color grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software was used to grade the popular drama series "Don't Call It Mystery," which is currently airing on Fuji Television Network (Fuji TV). The series was also graded using a DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel by Tomoyuki Abe, a colorist at the production/post production studio VASC.

Blackmagic Design announced that A24’s “The Green Knight” was graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio at FotoKem by colorist Alastor Arnold. The film was lensed by cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo. An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, “The Green Knight” tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur's reckless and headstrong nephew.

The creative editorial and post production house was tapped to deliver the seasonal spots throughout 2017, and while each spot is different in content, they all have a similar feel essential to the Kmart brand. |
