White Mark Designs Mosfilms First Dolby AtmosTM Dubbing Theatre Posted: 10/04/2017
UK acoustic consultancy White Mark Ltd has completed a major project to give Mosfilm, Russia's largest and oldest film studio complex, its first Dolby AtmosTM dubbing theatre (Studio 7).

White Mark Designs A New Foley Studio At Moscows CineLab Posted: 07/07/2014

Studio design consultancy White Mark Ltd played an important role in creating a new Foley studio for Russia's state of the art film sound facility CineLab Ltd. Unashamedly designed to be the best in the world, CineLab's Foley studio is already attracting projects from both local and international clients.

Based in Moscow and housed in a completely renovated former cold store building on the banks of the Moskva River, CineLab already has 14 studios including three dubbing theatres, a 5.1 mixing room for pre-mixes and TV/DVD work, multiple edit and pre-production suites and sound design rooms. Three of CineLab's dubbing theatres have Dolby Premier Licenses, and one of these was recently upgraded by White Mark to Dolby Atmos 3D spec.

White Marks David Bell Is Honoured By LIPA Posted: 03/08/2011
Bell, who is a founding director of UK studio design consultancy White Mark Ltd, graduated from Birmingham University with an honours degree in Physics. His career in the sound technology industry began at EMI where he worked on the earliest digital audio projects, culminating in the release of EMI's first digitally mastered records for the LSO and John Williams' band Sky. He has also worked for the BBC, where he helped specify and design the Corporation's first digital production facilities, and Solid State Logic, where he worked on algorithm development and control surface programming language creation. During this time the team created the first continuously variable digital equalisers in the world.
