DIGITAL VISION STRENGTHENS EUROPEAN PRESENCE WITH NEW GERMAN OFFICE

Digital Vision, the supplier of the worlds best colour grading, restoration and film scanning solutions for the broadcast, film, commercial and archive industries, today announced the expansion of its European sales operation with a new office opening in Berlin. The new location complements the companys existing offices in London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York and Stockholm.

NUCODA FILM MASTER USED TO GRADE OSCAR-WINNING FEATURE IN A BETTER WORLD Digital Vision has today announced that its Nucoda Film Master system was used to grade three Oscar winning productions - In a Better World (Best Foreign Language), Toy Story 3 (Best Animated Feature & Best Song) and Inside Job (Best Documentary).
 
In a Better World was shot on location in Southern Denmark and Kenya on RED ONE and was graded and finished by Swedish post production facility Filmek Teknik. The statuette was collected by the film’s Director Susanne Bier at Sunday night’s glittering Hollywood ceremony.

International Colorist Academy (ICA) Expands Training Team, Announces New Courses International Colorist Academy (ICA) has expanded its training team with the addition of Dan Harvey and Blake Jones. 

 

ICA now has seven experienced instructors that provide a variety of training courses on colorist strategies, commercial grading, on-set coloring for the RED camera, as well as a broad range of manufacturer-specific grading system workshops.
