Blackmagic Design Announces Blackmagic Duplicator 4K now with H.264 Posted: 24/04/2017
Blackmagic Design today announced the addition of realtime H.264 encoding to the Blackmagic Duplicator 4K. Now customers can choose to record H.264 for maximum compatibility with existing HD televisions and computers, or they can choose H.265 for delivering Ultra HD to the latest devices. Blackmagic Duplicator 1.1 update is now available as a free download from the Blackmagic Design website.

Blackmagic Design today announced that the URSA Mini 4.6K, Micro Studio Camera 4K, Blackmagic Duplicator 4K and numerous other products were used for live streaming and archival footage during the National Park Services 100 Year Anniversary Celebration in Glacier Bay, Alaska.

Blackmagic Design Announces Blackmagic Duplicator 1.0.2 Update Posted: 27/07/2016

Blackmagic Design has announced the new Blackmagic Duplicator 1.0.2 update which dramatically increases the performance of H.265 files on the latest playback devices. Since the Blackmagic Duplicator 4K was launched in April, new H.265 playback devices have been released and customers have also been providing feedback on the playback performance of the H.265 files. This feedback has been used to improve the codec in the Blackmagic Duplicator 4K, and this software update provides these improvements to all Blackmagic Duplicator 4K customers.
