Editworks Funds Rapid Expansion through Azule Finance

Date: 22/06/2010
peter savage Following the migration of light entertainment shows, like Eggheads and Who Dares Wins, to Scotland, post production house, Editworks, today announced the launch of a new post production facility in Glasgow. This rapid business expansion was made possible thanks to a quickly sourced leasing solution provided by Azule, the media and broadcast finance specialists, which allowed Editworks to finance two new SR decks for both its Glaswegian and London operations.

The new facilities are set to open mid June. Roger Cumner, Technical Director at Editworks, explained why Azule were the right financial partners for this expansion: "Azule's strong understanding of the media and broadcast industry makes them uniquely qualified to advise us on our highly niche leasing requirements. High street lenders simply do not understand the true value of the technology with which we work. In addition to this, the rapid pace of the media industry means that we have to make quick decisions for our business to grow in this market. Azule provided us with a highly competitive quote within a matter of days, which enabled the rapid upscale of our business, to help us retain existing customers and accommodate new ones."

Peter Savage, MD Azule Finance, commented on Azule's ongoing relationship with Editworks, "Over the last six years we have worked closely with Editworks, providing them with advice and financial solutions at each stage of their business growth. Over the years, we've advised them on finance for everything from infrastructure projects to SR Decks. At Azule we pride ourselves on our innate understanding of the challenges, risks and value of work in the media and broadcast industry. This knowledge means that we have the expertise and understanding to provide bespoke financial solutions to our customers quickly to meet the demands of a the fast paced world of media and broadcast".
