A Calrec Summa console is turbo-charging audio coverage aboard UM 21, a brand-new 4K OB vehicle by Spanish production company VAV Compa±ia de Producciones. Dorna Sports is the official rights holder for the FIM World Championship Grand Prix of motorcycle road racing. The company is using UM 21 for its HD coverage of the FIM CEV Moto2 European championships series currently underway in Europe.

Riedel Builds Massive Communications Network at Sochi Autodrom for Russias First F1 Grand Prix Race Posted: 06/03/2015

Over 15,000 meters of Riedel fiber optic cables were laid and there was plenty of excitement transmitted over them at the new Sochi Autodrom, one of the world's most modern circuits, which hosted Russia's inaugural Formula One (F1) Grand Prix race on Oct. 12, 2014. Riedel was heavily involved in creating the specifications for the television production requirements and provided the infrastructure for the transmission of video, audio, and intercom signals for the circuit.

F1 Indian Grand Prix Broadcast Live with Blackmagic Design Posted: 30/10/2012

Blackmagic Design today announced BP Satellite Solutions is providing RF camera services to broadcasters televising the FIA Formula One World Championship using Blackmagic broadcast infrastructure products, including the Compact Videohub and Videohub Smart Control. Commentary teams from TV Globo, RTL Germany, ZDF Sport, VIASAT (Sweden, Denmark and Norway) and MTV3 Finland are using the solution to present wirelessly from the F1 paddock, pitlane and starting grid.
