Continuing its online series of virtual events and on-demand content, GV Live Presents, the company is set to present a panel of experienced industry experts to discuss the new reality of an industry at the tipping point of transformation. The conversation – set to be released for on-demand viewing on Tuesday, February 23 at 11:00 AM ET / 4:00 PM GMT – presents a discussion on the state of the media landscape following a year of unprecedented, unimaginable change and some predictions about what 2021 will bring. It will feature a dynamic line-up of industry influencers, including; Maria Rua Aguete, Research Director, Omdia/Informa; Darren Lepke, Head of Video Product Management, Verizon Media; Chuck Meyer, Technology Fellow, Grass Valley; and Joe Zaller, Founder & President, Devoncroft Partners.
The panel discussion is in two parts, covering a range of industry trends and topics, such as the rising influence of the cloud, changes in monetization models and the shifting viewing habits of consumers and how traditional media companies and solution suppliers can not only survive, but thrive. Unlike other on-demand panels, viewers will be able to pose questions to the panelists for up to 30 days, with answers being presented in the same interface as the recording.
