INSIGHT TV Unleashes High-Octane Adventure Show Access All Areas Produced in UHD in Partnership with Sky Vision Productions Posted: 13/02/2017

INSIGHT TV, the worlds largest producer of true Ultra High Definition (UHD) content, has announced the launch of its latest series Access All Areas. Produced in UHD, in partnership with Sky Vision Productions, this adrenalin-fuelled adventure show is the latest in a long-line of UHD series produced by INSIGHT TV, providing viewers around the world with a huge catalogue of UHD content. Access All Areas is available from Tuesday 13th February at 9.50pm on platforms including: Vodafone Portugal, Vodafone Spain, Swisscom and Tricolor.

The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers(R) (SMPTE(R)), the organisation whose standards work has supported a century of technological advances in entertainment technology, today announced that the SMPTE Australia Section has extended the call-for-proposals deadline for the SMPTE Australia Conference & Exhibition (SMPTE17). The new deadline for proposal submissions is the close of business on 3 February.

Thomson Video Networks to Demonstrate UHD Broadcasting of High-Dynamic-Range Content Using New ViBE 4K Encoder Posted: 25/08/2015
Highlighting its new ViBE(R) 4K real-time compression solution for Ultra HD (UHD) broadcasting, Thomson Video Networks will demonstrate encoding of a live UHD TV signal to distribute high-dynamic-range (HDR) content at IBC2015. ViBE 4K enables media enterprises to leverage high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) to provide an optimal video experience to consumers through live compression of UHD sources at up to 60 frames per second and in 10-bit color. ViBE 4K with HDR support will be commercially available in early 2016.
