LiveIP Studio Project wins IBC2016 Innovation Award completing a hat-trick of awards Posted: 12/09/2016

The VRT-EBU LiveIP Studio Project has won the IBC2016 Innovation Award for Content Creation during a prestigious gala event at IBC2016 in Amsterdam. The LiveIP Studio, the worlds first fully functioning multi-vendor live production system based entirely IP and IT technology, was awarded top honors in a category that included BT Sport for its Augmented Reality for the UEFA Champions League project, and ESPN for the Pylon-Cam project.

IBC TV to use the VRT-EBU LiveIP Studio at IBC 2016 Posted: 10/08/2016

Belgian public broadcasting company VRT and European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced today that IBC TV will be using the VRT-EBU LiveIP studio production set-up to shoot, edit and produce some of the programs covering the IBC 2016 conference and exhibition in Amsterdam, 8-13 September. IBC TV chose the LiveIP solution in light of the huge interest the industry has shown in IP and to demonstrate the encouraging possibilities of IP production.

Sony today announced that IBC TV News will shoot all its videos this year on Sony XDCAM.

IBC TV News is the official TV and webcasting channel of the broadcast conference and exhibition International Broadcasting Convention (IBC), which takes place in Amsterdam every year. The channel provides the conference with streamed news stories featuring industry experts and top exhibitors from the show floor, as well as the latest news from the conference. The content is distributed to displays across the conference site and via channels like YouTube and iTunes.
