MediaKind to Participate in IP Showcase at IBC2018

MediaKind (formerly known as Ericsson Media Solutions) today announced that it will be participating in the IP Showcase at IBC2018. The MediaKind AVP Contribution Encoder and Content Processing Integrated Receiver-Decoder will be part of the multi-vendor “Live Production” use case and “Traffic Shaping” demonstrations, showcasing the All-IP protocols of SMPTE ST 2110, AES67, and AMWA NMOS IS-04. In addition, Matthew Goldman, SVP Technology for MediaKind, will be leading a 1-hour panel in the IP Showcase Theatre, “All-IP is Real! The State of SMPTE ST 2110 Based Deployments”, on Friday at 14:00 CEST.

IP Showcase Organizers Announce Full Slate of Presentations on IP Technology and Installations in IP Showcase Theatre
Major technical and standards organizations within the broadcast industry — Audio Engineering Society (AES), Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers® (SMPTE®), and Video Services Forum (VSF) — hosts of the IP Showcase at IBC2018 in Amsterdam, today announced a broad lineup of educational presentations in the IP Showcase Theatre. The IP Showcase Theatre will be IBC visitors' education destination as the industry progresses through the next phases of IP adoption.
