LYNX Technik and rsquo;s Announces Complimentary Custom LUT Feature for its greenMachine HDR Static and trade; Conversion Tool

LYNX Technik, provider of modular signal processing interfaces, announces that a new custom Look-Up Table (LUT) feature is now available for its greenMachine HDR Static, the company’s HDR <> SDR conversion tool.

This useful Custom LUT feature is available at no additional cost to the user and enhances HDR Static’s capabilities by ensuring that displays are showing the correct color look for the source signals. It allows users to upload and export up to twenty of their own LUTs to obtain the desired contrast, color, saturation, black and white levels.

Existing greenMachine customers can download and activate this new complimentary feature by updating their hardware firmware. To simulate this new feature or any of the greenMachine configurations to “try before you buy,” users can download the free greenGUI software in simulation mode to test out all the products. greenMachine HDR Static with up to 4K UHD support is universal and adaptive in that it supports real-time static HDR conversion between SDR and HDR, HDR and SDR, as well as between different HDR standards. Algorithms automatically apply color and contrast corrections across the specified images and content to deliver greatly enhanced images. In addition to HDR <> SDR conversion, HDR Static includes key functions such as: up/down/cross conversion, frame synchronization, a variety of audio functions, as well as built-in test generators. HDR Static is an effective HDR|SDR conversion tool for fixed, predicable applications such as TV studio production or similar static light scenes.
