CJP Broadcast Progressing Large-Scale Video Transcription Project for GBC

CJP Broadcast Service Solutions is progressing a large-scale video transcription project for Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation, Gibraltar's national television and radio service. Over 15,000 tapes in various format are in the process of being checked, repaired when necessary and transferred to digital media for long-term archiving.

CJP Announces Streamstar NDX 400 IP NDI Remote Live Production System

Now available from CJP Broadcast, the new Streamstar NDX 400 is an all-in-one live production and streaming studio designed for applications such as television and radio newscasting, educational programme-making, conference coverage and esports. Integral resources include four-channel camera control, four-input vision mixing, audio mixing, video and audio recording, graphics and character generation, playlist support, multi-view monitoring and live stream encoding. The complete system is housed in a 2U chassis.

"The NDX 400 elevates mobile content production and streamcasting to an entirely new level and at a very affordable price," says CJP Broadcast Sales & Service Coordinator Kieran Phillips. "It is very easy to transport, quick to set up and a pleasure to operate. Entire projects can be managed by a single operator if IP-linked remote pan/tilt/zoom cameras are used. Incoming feeds can be mixed for live delivery or recorded for later transmission, supplemented by content from the system's internal media player."

4:4:4:4 AlphaRGB video signal processing is used to ensure high quality graphics and overlays. Many production processes within the system can be preset. These include automated camera switching, automated vision mixer transitions, automated graphics ingest, CG sequencing and crawl, automated scene management and automated playlist handling.

CJP Broadcast announces a new addition to its range of products and services with the introduction of a fully integrated transportable live sports production system. Comprising the Streamstar production unit, InPlayer video-on-demand paywall and JW Player streaming service, it provides the core resources needed to create complete programmes for live streaming or VOD distribution.

Available in several versions supporting up to eight camera inputs, the system can ISO-record multiple source feeds simultaneously, plus the live output stream, to a 1 terabyte internal SSD for live mixing or offline postproduction. It is intended for use with a combination of unmanned remote-control broadcast HD pan/tilt/zoom cameras, goal cameras and traditional-style manned ENG tripod-mountable cameras, wireless drone cameras or auxiliary sources such as Skype-TX-connected guests.
