PlayBox Technology Announces Neo TS IP Stream Time Delay Posted: 27/07/2017

PlayBox Technology announces a major new addition to its modular Neo broadcast playout system. Scheduled for launch at IBC2017 in September, Neo TS Time Delay is a 1U IP-based delay server for single or multichannel time zone shift and disaster-recovery applications. It provides fully transparent delay of IP transport streams such as DVB/ATSC MPEG broadcast-quality compressed video and audio.

Thai television broadcaster E-San Banhouw has chosen a PlayBox Technology AirBox Neo as the core playout system for a new channel, Top TV, transmitting on the Thaicom satellite. Top TV will focus primarily on music programmes by performers in Thailand's north-eastern region. It will air on PSI channel 140. The system was configured and integrated by Central Solution, one of Thailand's leading broadcast systems integrators.
