PHABRIX is pleased to release the latest V4.2 software for its Qx Series of advanced hybrid IP/SDI test and measurement rasterizers. · QxL V4.2 offers simultaneous generation and analysis of ST 2110/2022-7 video and audio flows · Generation of two sets of video and audio ST 2022-7 flow pairs including; test pattern as a flow (1 x ST 2110-20 and 4 x ST 2110-30/31 with 2022-7), monitor output (GUI) as a flow (1 x ST 2110-20 and 1 x 2110-30/31 with 2022-7), offering a total of seven flow pairs (14 Flows) from generator and monitor output · A new IP Transmit configuration tool providing an at-a-glance view of transmitted flow status and selected formats

Ausma Lace, a recording engineer from Latvia, has been awarded the Sound For The Future Scholarship, which was set up by UK loudspeaker manufacturer PMC in association with the Audio Engineering Society Education Foundation. This $5,000 prize is given to an audio engineering graduate who is also a member of the AES with the aim of helping them further their studies. AJA Video Systems today announced the release of two new 12G-SDI openGear® solutions, AJA OG-12GM and AJA OG-FiDO-TR-12G. Featuring support for up to 4K/UltraHD content, OG-12GM is a 12G-SDI to/from quad-link 3G-SDI Muxer/DeMuxer, and OG-FiDO-TR-12G is a state-of-the-art 12G-SDI/Fiber transceiver. Both are designed for use in high-density openGear 2RU frames and compatible with Ross® DashBoard software for flexible device control and monitoring.
