NTP Technology representatives head to Broadcast Video Expo in London (February 28 to March 2), the LLB Sound Light & Image exhibition in Oslo (March 1 to 3) and the US National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas (April 24 to 27).
"It is a busy start to the year but a necessary one as these events allow visitors to engage directly with our latest products," says NTP Technology sales director Mikael Vest. "That kind of face-to-face discussion helps our customers and is certainly useful for us. Following on from our OEM agreement with Avid for the Pro Tools MTRX, the time has now come to focus on another major feature of our AX32 and DX32, namely the Dante and AES67 connectivity. This is why we are now introducing the DX32R Dante/AES67 to MADI and AES bridge."
The DX32R provides conversion between Dante/AES67 and not only MADI but also AES. It includes a coax MADI interface and eight AES3 interfaces. It can be expanded with a further two MADI interfaces, either optical or coax. A built-in router allows the user to pick and choose any channels from any interface to be routed to Dante/AES67 and vice versa.
Apart from providing routing of audio channels, the DX32R with an optional Pro Mon 2 license can also perform summing/mixing of channels. The DX32R includes as standard a redundant Dante interface and redundant power supplies plus two optional MADI interfaces which can also operate in redundant mode.
"As well as the DX32R, we will demonstrate the DAD AX32 A/D-D/A converter and router," adds NTP Technology business development manager Jan Lykke. "Offering up to 48 channels of DADs legendary A/D and D/A converters, optional microphone pre-amplifier, MADI, AES, SDI embedder/de-embedder, Dante/AES67 connectivity, a 1500 x 1500 audio router and the optional Pro Mon 2 monitor controller. the AX32 is the ideal choice for high quality music recording, audio post-production and live applications."
NTP will also exhibit the 2U Penta 720 1500 x 1500 audio router. This offers a wide variety of interfaces including analogue, MADI, AES, SDI embedder/de-embedder and Dante/AES67. The Penta 720 can either operate as a stand-alone router or be integrated as part of a larger audio router. The Penta 720 also includes the Pro-Bel SW-P-08 protocol for easy integration into third-party router management systems.
NTP Technology will co-exhibit at BVE on stand L45 with UK and Ireland distributor HHB Communications, at LLB with Norwegian distributor ProLyd and at NAB on booth C3851 with US distributor plus24.
