Net Insight’s partner Geartech Technologies Inc has placed an order for a 5G pilot project with a leading telecom operator in Canada. The operator has selected Net Insight’s 5G synchronization solution for a 5G pilot project. This is the first 5G sync win for Net Insight in North America.
The large telecom operator is rolling out a nationwide 5G network and needed a cost-effective network synchronization solution complementing GPS/GNSS for highest reliability and security. The ability to provide accurate time synchronization over its existing large IP network, reducing cost and complexity of time synchronization for 5G, were key reasons for choosing a pilot with Net Insight´s Precision TimeNet solution.
They have now placed an order for a pilot with five Precision TimeNet nodes, to test and evaluate Net Insight’s solution for its 5G network. The order was won together with Net Insight’s partnerGeartech Technologiesand will be delivered in Q4, 2022.
